Millennium Merriment!

Get ready… it’s approaching fast. The day is drawing near. That’s right… the Magical Christmas Caroling Truck is coming once again!

If you’ve just moved into the neighborhood, or if you’ve recently woken up from a long, long nap, you may be wondering… what is this Christmas Caroling Truck? Well, it’s a magical “experience” that happens every year on Christmas Eve in the neighborhoods of Toluca Lake and North Hollywood. Leading the procession, is a sixty-foot, eighteen wheeler flatbed decked out with Christmas scenes, thousands of lights, and a 5700 watt sound system. Riding on the truck and following behind are over 200 singers and dancers serenading local residents with favorite Christmas and holiday carols.

But wait, there’s more! Also making an appearance will be favorite Christmas characters like Rudolf and Frosty, plus Santa and his lovely wife on their 1999-model sleigh! And don’t worry, the elves have assured that both the truck and the sleigh are Y2K compliant.

So don’t be a millennium hum-BUG, get on your scarves, gloves and Santa hats, round up the family and the neighbors and join in. Everyone is invited to come out and usher in the new century in style!

The Magical Christmas Caroling Truck travels a 10-mile route on Christmas Eve through the streets of Toluca Lake and North Hollywood between dusk and eleven PM, rain or shine. Once the Truck is in your area, you can tune into the music at FM 88.3 and listen in.
